This is down right depressing.

My family has fallen for so many MLM’s, it’s a huge problem. My parents set an example by pedaling products 40 years ago. Now one of my siblings is falling for probably at least the 5th company. Sevenpoint2.

He read all the propaganda on line and is convinced he’s done his research.

Why are people so obsessed with processed health products that cost a fortune? Why are they so obsessed with getting rich fast?

I am really sad. My family spends a fortune on products time and time again. Is there any way to help them?

I feel your pain. I have an uncle who is 72 and still practicing dentistry because he can't afford to retire. The main reason he has no retirement funds is because he invested in every get-rich-quick scheme that he heard about.

To anyone steeped in Mormon culture, MLMs seem very natural. You work your way up the ladder of prestige, just like in church, so it seems all of life should work that way.

Your family won't change their beliefs unless they really want to. They made their bed, so they don't have much about sleeping in it. This is one of Mormonism's many hidden costs. The resulting warped reality makes you do stupid things.

You could research the actual success rates of MLMs and let them know what to expect. Basically, someone else is profiting off their greed. If the product was so great, the company wouldn't need them.

I just went to sevenpoint2's website to check it out.

They are just another immoral MLM.

They make and sell products with such a high markup that they cannot be sold to the general public.

$75 bucks for a can of chocolate shake. PLEASE.

So... you have to join, then pay a wholesale price (of probably $72 per can), and then sucker many other people to join, so they in turn can buy their overpriced crap.

The only way they make sales is through members buying from themselves, and talking about the "dream" of being rich one day.

Instead, they ruin lives.

A "moral" or "proper" MLM is one that sells products to customers as their primary source of income.

The products are actually competitive on the open market. They are few in number, but people know their names, Avon, Mary Kay, Tupperware....

...but most others are money making scams that cannot sell to the public due to the OUTRAGEOUS price of the product, and thus, they focus on recruiting others and teach them to buy from themselves.

They bastardize the true meaning of "investment" and turn all the members into mindless drones that constantly have to prove their devotion by spending more and more time and money with the company.

Sevenpoint2 is such a company.

No such thing.
Every MLM -- even Tupperware or Mary Kay -- is a pyramid scheme.

Sounds like an opportunity for a (x)-step recovery program; can I franchise it?

Who'll be my First franchisee?

Hasn't TSCC actually told people NOT to get involved in MLM schemes?

Looks like it is too little, too late.

7.2 ph - how huckster-ish can it get? Yeah. 7.2 The BIG "secret."

Tell them to go get a blood test, see what their PH is with the money still in their pocket.
