Paul D. Boyer, born in Provo, graduate of BYU, won the 1997 Nobel
Prize in Chemistry.
Kip Thorne, born in Logan, won the 2017 Nobel Prize in physics.
Neither has been mentioned in the ENSIGN since both of them self-
identify as atheists.

Very interesting. Henry Eyring never won a Nobel, but he was a world renowned scientist and quite a few people think that he should have earned one.
It is interesting though...the 2 Mormons that have won Nobels identify as atheists and Eyring was not your typical orthodox TBM. It seem as though believing in Mormon BS is somehow incompatible with scientific thinking.

Physics and Chemistry seem to lead to atheism. Apparently man really *can't* serve two masters as Eyring tried to do. The Bible was right for once. You do have to choose. And, sometimes the choice is obvious, like, when you study science in search of fact and the scales tip in the favor of substance.
How many people self identify as mormons ?
If you take the number of people in church this Sunday, subtract the children under 12, and then subtract the number of people who are there out of fear, then subtract the number of people who are power trips, then many of those left are your 'mormons'.
