Well, I'm in the majority regarding ancient civilizations... I think dinosaurs got as far as self-driving cars before the big splat that made the gulf of Mexico wiped them out.
But I'm in a minority on the issue of 'moving things with your mind. I believe in that because I've seen Saucie do it to me...
Regarding Bigfoot, I have an autographed photo that I bought when I was 11, on road trip from Vegas to LA, when we stopped to see The Thing.

But...what did they use for fossil fuel for their self-driving cars, hmm? :)
Naw, that one has been debunked by washer repairmen. That "other dimension" is actually on the outside of the washer drum, where the relatively small, light-weight socks are flung (more like worming) during rinse and spin cycles. Especially kiddie socks.
You can start your own Save-the-Socks, Buy-a-Mesh-Bag campaign.
You also have to look under, behind and between the appliances, a favorite hiding place.
Sasquatch poop, on the other hand, is very nutritious to all manner of forest creatures. ;)
Haunted houses. OMG. Al I can think is way too much Hollywood in that sort of belief. Back when superstition was the primary explanation for natural phenomena, I could be sympathetic. I feel something more akin to chagrin for current-day humans. I would be interested to know the % of posters here who think that spirits can "see" them poop.
