Really weird. Kinda made me squirm. A ski resort is using the temple ceremony wording in their video advertisement. It's definitely not a resort near Utah. Why?

What's weird is that the person who put this up is Spanish-speaking, and explains where he got the images for his time lapse, but he never says a thing about the English-language over dub!

I bet there's a fascinating story behind the choice of that audio for what he/she knew was primarily a Spanish-speaking audience.

I don't know about the Spanish-language connection, but maybe the video creator was trying to make some kind of bizarre (or just plain facetious) connection between the "heaven" of the Mormon temple and the "heaven" of the Sierra Nevada skiing venues.

After all, there are ski areas in the Sierra Nevada Mountains (around Tahoe) that use "heavenly" in their names:

I like the words better in the mountains than the other video location. If I didn't know the origin, it would seem peaceful.

I wonder if the church can sue them for using their copyrighted materials. Than again, it would be fun to see them try. They would have to publicly declare in their pleadings to the court, that they own this intellectual property. Then it would come out that this is a part of the temple ceremony. Before you know it, there would be new nursery rhymes and open discussions about it amongst non-members.

But I don't think the church really cares so much about temple secracy anymore anyway. Now that the blood oaths have been removed, there isn't much left for them to be ashamed of about the temple ceremony anyway.

That was funny. The creator of that ad is obviously a mormon. *LOL*

That is really, really weird. The audio is from the infamaous episode if the HBO serues "Bug Love" when one of the wives sneaks into the temple and the key parts are dramatically reenacted for all the world to see (and hear).

If anyone is going to fule a copyright lawsuit, it would be HBO.
