Our server is being relocated to a new computer room on a college campus with better power backup and access. This computer server complex also houses commercial sites. I am not sure how long we will be down. Hopefully less than 4 hours.

Just blame the eclipse if it is longer. :)

It will be evidence of God's mighty power when this anti-Mormon site is taken down. ;)

I sincerely hope nothing like that happens.

RfM has been my lifesaver over the last 2+ months. I truly would lose my mind if it disappeared for good?

Long live RfM!!! :)

I just put the lawn chairs in the front yard to start watching the total eclipse in 45 minutes. We are lucky enough to live in the path. The total eclipse will be at 2:32 EDT here with it beginning at 1:30. No clouds right now. Perfect for observing, except for the heat. There will be a couple of beers in the cooler to keep refreshed :-). Schools are closed for this event.

Enjoy, Eric! Maryland will get about 80% at 2:42 P.M. I have my eclipse glasses ready to go!

See you on the other side.

There's a shortage of eclipse glasses where I live, but not a shortage of enthusiasm. Local newscasters are going to make sure there will be no shortage in time for the 2024 (duh, that's only 7 years away lol.)

It was great. Seeing the corona was amazing. Better than expected. The insects, cicadas, and frogs went crazy. Birds had stopped chirping. Darkness mid afternoon was fun. We heard cheering all around. A neighbor brought over some genuine moonshine made by his friend Bob. Best moonshine I have ever tried. A wonderful day.

I was driving home from work during the peak of the solar eclipse where I live. Didn't see it go dark. Turned on the tv to the local news where there was a live telecast of it downtown near my office.

I didn't see it go dark there either. But the newscast did provide excellent coverage of the eclipse for those like me who didn't have the right glasses to watch it with.

The sun was really bright today too. Not much of a cloud cover to mask it.

My niece was able to record hers on Instagram in Wyoming today.

It went pretty dark. One of her kids was shrieking with fright.

Hope they sleep well tonight. :)
