Worked hard today. Sweat. Sun. Blue skies. The smell of livestock. Home now. But I was home before. Love to work physically, even though I'm older.

Sitting by the creek watching a giant German brown taking flies between the legs of the ducks who call my pool home. My pool? Not really. Just water backed up behind the stones I placed.

Smell of summer. Heat and water mixed in a way that only can be experienced, but not described.

Beautiful and lofty mountains to the east. Thunderstorm brewing a little west. Tomatoes calling for harvest.

Wood to stack for winter. How much do I need? Who knows. Just guess I guess.

Wildflowers staring at the sun. Box elder leaves twisting in the breeze. Teasing me knowing their time is getting shorter.

It's Wednesday, but really my Sabbath. Every day is my Sabbath. Peace. Serenity. Joy.

If there is a god, thank you. If not? Thank you. What a beautiful day.

That was very, very good. Thank you. I have these little epiphanies quite often myself. It is true enjoyment. So much better than ruminating over the past and always planning for the future. Thanks for sharing. It's what's called " living in the moment" and let's all do it more.

You have a gift for poetry.

Lovely imagery.

or maybe its the salubrious Philadelphia climate. I was vacuuming out my car, preparatory to heading south to see the eclipse, and I was getting eaten alive by clouds of mosquitoes!

Some people will say, "Such beauty! See--there IS a God!"
Others will say, "See? You can enjoy and appreciate such beauty WITHOUT a God."

Silly humans!

Silliness aside, it's a lovely little proem.

Life is good. It's never better than now. It only gets different. It's strange how people chase happiness. I have. Doing my best to just live now.
