WTF? The church should be donating this property! It is for a homeless shelter for crying out loud! $4.5 million is chump change for them. Chump change. Even if only for selfish PR reasons, they should have donated it.

Exactly! The Morg uses its not-for-profit tax status to help fund mega-real estate projects, but can't donate a property in its own backyard to help people.

Especially considering that LDS Inc would have readily PAID 4.5 Million $ and more in situations where they did not have all of the insider influence and control, to be able to displace and remove the homeless from the vicinity of their glorious MORmON vatican project AKA City Creek Center Mall.
