Just found out who the second and third presidents of the church were....

So Brigham Young and John Taylor right?????

Nope

According to Joseph Fielding Smith, Oliver Cowdrey was co president with Joseph. He was the second president of the church.


So Brigham Young was third????

Nope

Joseph Fielding Smith taught that Hyrum Smith replaced Oliver.

He also stated it was God's will that two prophets seal their testimony of the restoration with their blood. So...if Oliver had stayed true he would have died at Joseph's side.
