YM Activities

During Priesthood,the AP report their activities for the past week or the next week. Last week, we went to Costco. Week before, we played a game, week before that we went to a swimming park.Those are the exact words as they report to the brethren.

No money for activities.

The church refuses to invest in its future membership by funding youth activities. Kids will leave because the church offers them nothing and the church will continue on with "doubt your doubts" sermons and wonder why it's not helping.

Somewhere along the line the church decided it was not there to "entertain" the youth. So all the fun activities stopped, along with a lot of the kids stopped attending as well.

Leadership inaction. Can't edit the above. When I was a Beehive, the idea was shadow leadership. I was the class president and my leader was unhappy with her calling so there was 12 year old me and not much else. Fun times.
