Did you try to explain the 'occult markings' on them or did you cut out the markings and burn them in a soup can first. (Like the little ole lady temple workers advised me to do?

Nope, didn't cut out anything.

As of a half hour ago, Goodwill knows what they are. A whole pile in a bag marked "MORMON OCCULT UNDERWEAR."

(I didn't stick around for a tax donation receipt. But, maybe I coulda written off the hundred thousand I paid for em.)

Yeah, it's always a good idea to get the receipt, if you report it at tax time, you will get a bigger return as it will reduce your taxable income.

Mine were stuffed into a brown paper grocery sack that lived at the bottom of my closet for months, before I finally got up the nerve to pitch it into outgoing trash.

I never thought to ask DH what he did with his. He wore them until they were threadbare, and then switched to regular-guy skivvies - white tee shirts and boxers. Don't know what became of the garmies, but I haven't seen them in years.

You could've shown him that site with the fetching Mormon girls modeling their "lingerie." Some of them give new depth to the term "sister wives," honest.

You know the one; it keeps popping when one does searches for all things LDS...
