Sounds like the Bill Cosby case except with young boys.

Also reminds me of the time I was asked to give a lesson on sex abuse in RS. I told of several incidents that I had knowledge of. One of them being a close 10 yo relative being raped by the son of a leader.

I was chastised for not making that lesson more 'spiritual'. My reply was "Are you serious??? How does one make sexual assault a spiritual event!???" No reply. I was released a week later. Thank you Jesus!

I will add that I had at least 6 women thank me for that lesson because they'd never been validated at church. There were only 10 women in the room, so over half had some type of experience with molestation in mormonism.

The crazy lady that chastised me was uber TBM. She was that type that would have sold one of her 5 daughters down the river. Hopefully that didn't happen.

How is this possible when every single calling of bishop is approved in advance by the First Presidency?

One of these has to be true:

1) The Mormon god wanted this to happen

2) The First Presidency is lying when it says it's inspired by the Mormon god

There are only 3 comments, one of which makes this very point. One of the others contains a wonderful bit of spelling: "countsloures".

Apparently, she was trying to write "counsellors".
