When visiting SLC, my husband and I stopped for a rest on a bench (of sorts) which surrounded a tree next to the curb. As we sat awhile, along came a 'Somebody' of church importance, judging by the way in which he was duded-up: Perfect dark suit outfit, white shirt, modest solid dark colored tie, and absolutely perfectly cut hair (must go to the barber shop every 5th or 6th day).

As he came so very close to us (due to the reduced tight sidewalk where we sat), it sure seemed like he expected us to genuflect, or whatever lowly church members are supposed to do when sighting a church authority. (We didn't--we just let him walk by.)

Maybe I am making too much of this, but it seemed as if he felt he had to dress and perform exactly correctly in order not to disappoint a couple of lowly members.

Ziller, I concur that you are definitely somebody. What we need to know, though, is were you THE somebody. Were you in a perfect dark suit outfit with the white shirt and modest dark-colored tie with a perfect haircut? Were you on or near the reduced sidewalk near a tree next to a curb in SLC on the day Pollythinks and her husband were there? Were you anywhere near the grassy knoll on 11/22/63?

Pollythinks, would you recognize particular GAs (Q12 + 1st Pres) by sight? I'm asking because I'm curious as to what GA it might have been. I would recognize anyone in the top 15, but if it were a 70, unless it was someone who was in my stake when I was a kid or the parent of one of my high school classmates or one of my dad's pals, I wouldn't have a clue. The behavior sounds vaguely Bednarish, and he certainly has the every-5-or-6-days haircut, but then, a lot of them probably behave in that manner.
