Sometimes people mispronounce things as a subtle form of contempt, but Hitchens has a distinct accent anyway.

Obviously it's hard to agree on the correct pronounciation of fictional characters in fantasy languages, so people would go by stuff they know, like macaroni. Mormond are the crazy ones, not the Hitch.

I agree Palmeera is the preferred in the world writ large.

It's just that any nevermo character actor like the one who played Roman Grant on Big Love cannot be deemed authentic saying it thusly.
