When they were investigating the TX FLDS ranch, what happened to the children there? From what I remember, they were returned to their families. Can someone help me out with what happened when the federal government raided it?

The Federal government never raided it. It was raided by the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Eldorado County Sheriff. The probable cause for the raid was an anonymous tip (later proven to be a hoax)that a specific girl was being sexually and physically abused.

Upon execution of the search warrant for the child, numerous children were believed to be at risk, they were temporarily removed from the community until the CPS people determined that they were not at risk. They were eventually all returned to their families. The search also uncovered thousands of records implicating Jeffs and others of a multitude of offenses that landed several, including Jeffs in prison. The girl that was the subject of the search was never found.

Even though the investigation started from a hoax, law enforcement was not aware of the hoax until after the investigation, thus they acted in "good faith" and the legality of the search stood.

and called TX state CPS saying abuse was going on. A local judge who is also a pilot had at one time a web page with aerial photographs describing what was going on there -- like with the North Korean style mega statue of Warren Jeffs for example.

Warren is in prison right now. Still the Prophet of the fun-daMolsters. The Trust got raided by the Feds and after the Lawyers get their cut I'm sure their won't be much for the kids or the lost boys.

Warren Jeffs is such a horrid person (and, I think, even worse than J.Smith). The fact that he took as his guide Joseph Smith's polygamy is shameful and horrid. Today, this stuff is swept under the rug (of knowledge), and virtually ignored by TBM.

They are repulsed by Jeffs, but yet he is much closer in behavior to Joseph Smith than the SLC LDS Inc CEOs. If you point it out, they just don't get that it should matter, because Joe was the con man that wrote their scriptures, WoW, etc.

What is the seed bearing ritual that girls are subjected to?

The attention on the Jeffs group is important. Not getting enough attention is "the Order," a.k.a. Latter-Day Church of Christ, a.k.a. the Kingston Clan. Not only are they polygamists, they're also criminals.

They believe they are literally the descendants of Jesus Christ, and therefore, to keep the bloodline "pure," they marry only among themselves, thus inbreeding intensely, which results in numerous deformed and dead babies, along with retardation. Similar to the Jeffs group, many of them marry young girls.

This probably deserves it's own thread but it does apply directly to Jeff's too.
