Once again listening to the radio and heard some very disturbing news. The House votes today to determine if the ISP can get rid of the Telecommunication Act of 1996. (HJ RES 86)If it passes, it goes on to the President to ok it. The Act had protected our browsing history and our personal information. If this passes, the ISP will be able to sell your information to the highest bidder. HIPPA protects personal medical information and I thought privacy was a right to be protected in any case, but not now.
