Yes, folks, it's almost that time again: General Conference **salutes "General Conference."**

I expect it'll be boring as usual, but I'm tuning in at the sustaining to see if more people show up to yell, "Opposed!"

Also, it'll be interesting to see if Monson shows up or pulls a Benson (sorry, Steve). I have to wonder, procedurally, what'll happen if Monson dies on, say, Friday night.

Is this Albany, New York?

If so, are Mormons in the area disturbed at all by Wilford Woodruff's prophecy singling out Albany for destruction by fire in these, the latterest of days?

I drove through Albany once and didn't see anything nefarious or deserving of incineration.

Yes, indeed. Albany, NY. I think most Mormons here are blissfully unaware of the supposedly impending doom. I for one will sit in a lawn chair with a beer, sunglasses and tablet and wait for the fire to cremate me.
