Great essay. I caught it yesterday via RealClearPolitics.

I'd still be more scared of Old Testament (or Islamic) legalists than alt-right windbags. The good things in religion, and I think they exist in abundance, are about to be destroyed by their ridiculously unstable foundation in written nonsense. The narcissism of the founders--Paul, Mohammed, Calvin, Smith--just overwhelms everything else.
