I did not watch it...again...nor have I seen any of the movies up for best picture. Heard about the "OOPS" with Warren and Faye....WTF?

It looks like Warren was handed the wrong card. Faye read it as Emma Stone for LaLa Land. It was supposed to be "Moonlight" as best picture. So it wasn't Warren and Faye's fault. They read the card they were given.

He should have looked off-stage, motioned for a switch-out and thereby avoided it all.

Yes, Warren was clearly confused when he saw that card in his hand. He just stood there and I am sure folks thought he was having a senior moment or something...then he handed it off to Faye and she also seemed befuddled for a moment and then just blurted out La La Land. Very awkward.

The Academy has been pranked .....again. How many here remember the year of the nekkid man streaking the ceremony?

It just proves that the envelope openers are in on the deception.

They know the names of the winners in the envelope before they even open the envelope.

That's why Warran and Faye didn't know what to say or do when they were handed an envelope that had a name in it that didn't follow the script.
