No it is not good for man to be alone. We shall go down and cause a deep sleep to come over the man Adam. When Adam awakes we find him in the Garden of Eden with his first wife Lillith.

Adam - O god hear the words of my mouth. Lillith would not open her mouth and service me as thou commanded her to. And she has left the Garden.

God - bring Adam another woman and have her promise to obey the man Adam.

Yes folks - Adam was the first man and the first man had more than one wife.

Religion - the fucked up mind bender,

this story evidently seems true. So why the banishment of Lillith from the narrative? I've never understood. It's kind of like the exile of the Daniel slaying the dragon story which certainly seems true, yet yanked out of the protestant bible for whatever reason?

But with Lillith comes other questions such as when she fled to the land of Nod did she meet up with other people. And when cain went there did he meet up with other people? Were there people before the creation story? Could this be evidence that evolution actually is real?

Yes, Lilith hooked up with Cain and never went back. It's been pandemonium ever since.

Mormonism ALWAYS deals with lives in the idealistic circumstances-situations.

Realism, including Connecting the Dots just isn't in their bag of tools.

Remember, however, that the legend of Lilith as Adam's first wife did not develop until about 1000 CE.

It is just a legend.

Religion is all legend.

I think it's good for badassadam to be alone for right now although he has been craving some women as of late.

I think it's great for man to be alone sometimes. Sometimes you just want to sit in the Adirondack chair and sip whisky without being bothered.

Thank God I never even heard of Adam and Eve when I was young. An interesting myth but merely evidence that the Bible stories are not to be taken literally. JS apparently thought it was literal. Also other "prophets", and Christian fundamentalists so misthink.

Sad how "god" doesn't apparently care about woman being alone...just man. Hmph.

I love Lillith. The way I understood the story, God originally commanded them to be equal. Adam tried to get Lillith to obey him and she rebelled, then she was banished. So God gave Eve to Adam, who eventually agreed to obey him (after she got him to try the forbidden fruit).
