Muhammad went to a cave to pray and think on which religion was right. An angel appeared to him three times. Then he started his own religion. Sound familiar?

I'm sure Joe knew the story well. He even referred to himself as a modern day Muhammad entitled to multiple wives. He outdid Muhammad by a factor of 2 or 3.
