HIV positive since 1997 or 1998, diagnosed Feb 18, 1999. Married since 2005 and on meds since 2008. Alive and kicking, absolutely. Just home from travelling around Italy. No drugs, alcohol, tobacco or sugary drinks. Lots of fruit and vegetables and green tea. But most of all the will to carry on regardless.

Every year in February it feels like I have an alternative birthday. Will be my 18th soon.
