My husband and I just got back from a wonderful trip to Italy. I feel so awful for the people in Umbria and Marche. I agree with "hie", I hope they get the help they need.

According to some supporters of the irish mystic priest pope francis is 'peter the roman'; the last pope who will re-unite all christians, only for rome to be destroyed by earthquakes and the pope to be assassinated in the ensuing mayhem.

How long till either muslims or catholics or both claim the earthquakes were god's response to last friday's prayers and protests against shutting down unofficial and unregulated mosques, outside the coliseum? (gender segregation was in force, of course).
