Please respect this board, Eric, its founder, its many posters and the hard-working, busy mods (who actually do have a life as well as helping out on this board) by remembering and adhering to the rule against posting political comments at RfM. This board is aimed at those questioning Mormonism, those having recently left Mormonism and those considering, questioning and recovering from negative experiences in their mo and postmo lives.

There is no room for contentious topics that are absolutely outside this purpose and that often spark arguments and bad feelings amongst posters. To traumatized/recovering people, even reading disagreements and angry remarks can be triggering.

It seems obvious that this especially includes the current US election campaign: Big hint - if you are using the names of any politican in your subject line or post, it is 100% sure to be "political" and will be removed - please just refrain and save us the hassle.

Again (many reminders already this year) PLEASE NO POLITICS. Please respect Eric, mods and fellow posters. Don't make us have to delete you. We don't enjoy it and would like to spend our time in more productive ways to help the board than in incessant removal of posts that contravene our simple, basic and few rules, which are for the good of all the posters here.

Topping, again, because apparently some people haven't seen the rule or this thread. What other explanation could there be for the continued political posts cropping up like dandelions on a hot summer day?
