With GC coming up this weekend it behooves us to know what happens when, and plan accordingly:

* Panthers at Falcons, 1 p.m. ET, FOX
* Bills at Patriots, 1 p.m. ET, CBS
* Seahawks at Jets, 1 p.m. ET, FOX
* Raiders at Ravens, 1 p.m. ET, CBS

And that's just NFL. Saturday's full of college football, we've got a bunch of MLB teams on the post-season bubble, plus the Ryder Cup concludes on Sunday.

And for those non-couch potatoes amongst us, early October is often a great time to get outside and hike, indulge in some wine-tasting, buy a pumpkin or three, be humiliated by fish whilst sitting silently in a boat on a lake, etc.

It's not a REAL sport unless it involves brooms.

The Sunday afternoon session is up against the Broncos at the Buccaneers (CBS) and the Rams at the Cardinals (Fox).

Decisions, decisions. Hmmm, I think I go with the NFL over TSCC.

Actually, if the only two choices were General Conference and a 1960s era test pattern, I still wouldn't watch conference.

I'm happy I will be able to actually watch the Buccaneers Sunday.living in Utah it's always the Broncos on tv. So this works out for me.

I'm running a marathon Saturday.


Not going to be thinking a thing about conference.


BTW, I visited Salt Lake City in October of 1974, and I remember walking down the street and conference was blaring over loud speakers so you didn't miss a word.


Haven't been back to SLC since.


Do you still get assaulted by the sounds of conference walking down the streets of SLC?
