LDS church tampers with witnesses on death penalty case

I couldn't find evidence on RfM that people had discussed this already. It's another case of he LDS church tampering with the legal system in Utah. It also features Kirton McConkie:

Only in a theocracy would they continue to get away with this.

Well, the Mormon church has likely just handed the defendant solid grounds for an appeal. It's funny how the Mormon church currently has "no opinion" on the death penalty.

Hmmmmm...while not as heart-breaking as a murder, I thought of another incidence of a church "higher-up" meddling with "witnesses", namely JS and some golden plates....
