Speaking of Facebook, a TBM friend posted a "meme" of a quote attributed to Gordon B. Hinkley. This friend commented about the "meme," saying how #blessed she is to have such a wise prophet willing to share his amazing knowledge.

What was this amazing knowledge that only the wise elite few have learned? *Ahem* and I quote:

"It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry."

??? Really? This is what qualifies as a pearl of wisdom from the mouth of god these days? Aside from the fact that it's fairly dismissive of someone's problems, it's far, FAR from a unique quote. Can you really attribute that to anyone? Doesn't everyone say some form of this, like, every other day of their lives?

... but a few monkeys randomly working at typewriters could certainly come up with more inspiring wisdom than you find in that Hinckley quote!

Sounds like a takeoff on Matthew 6:34. God must have updated it to modern language for GBH.
