New Rule For Mormon Colleagues: You Can't Act Shocked...

You can't act shocked when you hear that a colleague's daughter graduated from college with honors.

Nor can you act shocked when a working mother works and raises 4 boys who graduate from college.

Women can walk and chew gum at the same time...

Hopefully, the shock is their cultural expectations and biases being reworked a little.

Your post tickled me. And, living where there are no Mormons it also surprised me because no one is shocked when women just "get it done" around here.

I hope more of the country is like here and not like Mormons.
