Yes. I was an ugly guy as a kid until I moved to Tennessee for six months. While there I became extremely handsome. When I moved back home, I became ugly again.
The last time I was in Tennessee, only one thing stands out in my memory.
The women with either NO, or missing teeth. I'm talking young women in their 20's and 30's. It was a shock to me. This was in the 90's, before the whole Meth thing.
It seemed to be a common thing in common places. There were probably just as many men in the same situation, but it was more obvious in the women who couldn't grown a face full of hair.
Even worse, the kids with bottle mouth and rotten teeth. I just don't understand how that happens this day and age. Apparently mothers give babies bottles with juice and even soda in them. The babies then fall asleep with their mouths full of sugary acidic drinks. The end result is rotten black baby teeth. So sad.
"Tennessee lawmakers today failed to override Republican Gov. Bill Haslam’s veto of a bill that would have made Tennessee the first state to adopt the Bible as its official book. Forty-three House members voted in favor of the bill, but supporters needed 50 to meet the threshold of the 99-member chamber. Both the House and Senate would need to a majority vote for the bill to become law. The Senate has not voted on the governor’s veto, but had approved the bill 19-8 earlier this month. Haslam vetoed the bill last week, writing a letter addressed to the speaker of the House that “this bill trivializes the Bible, which I believe is a sacred text. … If we are recognizing the Bible as a sacred text, then we are violating the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Tennessee by designating it as the official state book.”"
