I posted here a while ago, when I was still “investigating” the (so-called) church. At the time, I was very upset and confused—and bordering on suicidal. Since then, I’ve cut ties with anything and everything Mormon. I couldn’t be happier! I’m graduating in the spring, my relationship with my mom is back to normal, and I have an amazing boyfriend who loves me for who I really am. I have time to take care of myself and be there for my friends and family now. It’s wonderful. I can’t thank all of you enough for helping me snap out of it! Thank you; thank you; thank you! =)

Nice to hear that you've turned everything around. Life is too short to waste time on cult teachings that mess things up.

All the best! Cheers!!

well, that is quite an endorsement (indictment) of MORmONISM.....
as not exactly being the recipe for happiness that MORmONS like to claim that MORmONISM is.

thank goodness, that you did not end up being baptized.

Oh, yes. I remember you well. I don't think I have ever been so passionate in an RFM posting as I was in responding to you. Thank you for letting us know how your story has progressed.

Just curious. Did you by any chance write about or otherwise capture your experience of being recruited? It would make for great story material.

Best to you,

JAR

Well, it certainly helped! =) *Cyber Hug*

I did some journaling throughout the experience, actually. A story might be in order. *waggles brows*

This is what I often refer to as: taking your power back and owning it. Congrats! Happy to hear it's working for you!

Great news! You saved yourself a boat load of pain and stress.

Many Mormons pretend to be happy, while they are slowly suffocating.

Speaking your mind and being loved for who you are... Your future looks entirely different now. Good going for evaluating the consequences and choosing peace of mind.
