Temple names

Anyone know how I can find out the day someone went through the temple...to then figure out their temple name??? Would I have to have access to their church records? I'm thinking that's the only way. :( In discussion with a TBM and he says there is no way I could know his name HA HA HA. I just need the date. I asked him and he can't remember the exact date just the month and year. Which is a little helpful but the day is the real golden nugget. I'm wondering if being able to tell him his name comes from a daily generated list will rock his faith a little.

Not behind his back. His member record would show it.

You may be able to trick him though. I think personal FamilySearch pages show LDS ordinances. You could try to get him to show you his page. Just say you're curious and don't tell him the real reason. If it's there, you can read it off and get back to him later with the new name.
