The cult blocks Twitter on their chapel wifi now, along with Instagram, yet Facebook isn't blocked. How ironic is that? Are they afraid the Mishies are going astray?
With the amount of idiots I need to block on my company's Twitter account because they use their accounts to forward wholly inappropriate garbage from fools who use four letter words as part of their Twitter account name, I really cannot fault the blocking of Twitter. In fact I'd guess it's probably an automated setting that spots various keywords.
The problem is that they can't deal with individual tweets and have to block Twitter, instead.
We rarely get such posts on our Facebook account, however, which is probably why the chapel WiFi hasn't blocked Facebook, yet.

The chapel LAN seems to say to me, "Shhh! Don't tweet." For this is a thought controlled place to meet. Shhh! Don't tweet. There are many sites we can surf online, we post and text and watch Youtube and Vine. But when we log on the chapel LAN: Shhh! Don't tweet.
Look at their own growth rates. It was cut from 6% in the early 1990s to 2.5% around 1998. Once people got the Internet, the missionaries lost converts and the Exmo movement really took off.
It's not milk, and yet not meat, Definitely not a treat, As you sit in your church seat, Thinking how it's such a feat, Getting through without a tweet.
I have been out a long time. It just amazes me that they have wifi for the sheep. I would be less surprised if they made you check your devices at the door.

I can confirm that locally. Was in a cell-phone signal hole, and needed to access something. Pulled up in front of the local TSCC building, and connected to their wifi with that very password.
Getting a few $0.01 worth from the tithing I paid long ago...:)
