God of course.

Studying existence out in your mind and in the scope of what is factually known can be daunting and depressing for many.

The Mormon god tries make it even easier to banish your insufferable ignorance to Outer Darkness because he has representatives with authoritative voices and boring instead of daunting information and delusional instead of depressing dreams of a hereafter.

Sacrament Meeting is an example of sufferable experiences with ignorance. God is pleased with people suffering ignorance. Insufferable ignorance or the not knowing of things like if God even exists is unbearable. God so loved the ignorant that he sent his only begotten to save his children from the whys and wherefores of what is known and especially what is unknown.

Um, wait -- that's one of the main *causes,* not the *cure.*

The cure is honest, open education. Not the opposite!

Yeah, yeah -- I know mormons (and many others) think the cure is god/religion.
They're wrong. :)

is the ignorance willful ?

I assume so.

Here is the punchline. God doesn't mind his people suffering ignorance especially ignorance of his existence as long as they keep it from being insufferable with belief.

God doesn't like insufferable ignorance. He will have a man's head chopped of so that many of his children won't have to suffer in unbelief. This is how I found out he is the cure for insufferable ignorance. It is suffering in ignorance with unbelief.

I thought the cure was whiskey. At least for the insufferable part.

The law isn't on God's side. He didn't sustain the laws of the land and force that bus to stop.

Yeah, but crazy is even harder to fix in the spectrum of needing to be fixed things.

And doubts. Don't forget to doubt your beliefs if you are going to use facts instead of beliefs to combat your own insufferable ignorance.

Doubts can be comforting once you acquire a taste for them. Problem is they are more bitter the younger you are.

Mormonism has a prohibiting against imbibing doubts to remedy the symptoms of conflicting beliefs. It doesn't want to kill the buzz of Mormon beliefs so it wants you to imbibe more beliefs it calls doubts. But doubts about doubts is just another way of saying beliefs. Faith is doubting the doubt that one has that there exists an afterlife. See?

The biggest fear of the Mormon leaders is DOUBT. Then comes the internet.

They don't have what it takes to put a stop to either one. The boat is sinking, just not as fast as I would hope.

Man is that he might have joy, so what is joy for the ignorant? Bliss.
