http://exmormon.org/phorum/read.php?2,1725858When it comes to participation in Organized Religion, I'm betting (don't have statistics), that age and where a person grew up is a better indicator than level of education. As someone else pointed out, you have a church run by MBA's and JD's crowing about a founder that was 14 and supposedly uneducated. I bet Joseph Smith had something the current leaders don't have -- charisma.
Because you have many educated leaders in the mormon church, they often start out selling mormonism by "facts". When that breaks down, they move to faith. And when that doesn't work, they move on to threats or attacks on the person doubting their words.
