As a gay man who is not in a stable relationship, I'm glad.

Instead of settling down in a stable, loving, monogamous,
committed relationship and maybe even making it legal by getting
married, I prefer to cruise gay bars and certain other haunts,
pick up strangers and have wild, gay sex with them.

Thanks to the current policy my child will be totally accepted
by the Mormon community since there is no policy against
children of single, wildly promiscuous gay parents, only against
kids of those in a stable, committed relationship.

Well, see you all later . . . I'm off to a Mazola party!

Now where did I leave my whip?

Folks, he's doing it for the kids! It's Christ-like, is what it is!

I'm sure your kids appreciate your sacrifice, baura. No matter how hard it is on you :)

He's always been so unselfish. He's an inspiration.

Sometimes I wish I was gay. I'm still looking for that type of scene you describe for straight men. I'd also pick up men so much easier than I pick up women, I think. I know how men think and could relate to them better. Who the fuck knows what women are thinking, I sure don't.

As a woman, I can tell you, we sure as hell don't know what we're thinking either XD
And this post almost makes me wish I was gay too O.o baura is having way too much fun!

Ha. Ha!
Thank you for admitting that.
Some comedian, I don't remember who, said to someone about not understanding women, "You know who understands women? Other women. And they hate each other".
But, we can't live without you!

There was a Family Guy episode where Lois mentioned she was in a relationship with a woman but admitted women where to hard to figure out and get along with so she went back to men.
Funny stuff!

For those who think they'd do better gay, ask my ex. He can find plenty of hookups. He'd really like to have a committed relationship (he thinks). I think it might drive him nuts. But the gay dating world I don't think is any easier than the straight world. I've watched him struggle with it for years. He has had several partnerships that didn't last. I hope he does find someone.

I guess that's right. Wow. So much for it being about protecting the children.

So true Norma Rae... its just all about the hate. Their new

"policy" makes no sense whatsoever.

For the record I'm not gay. I'm a happily married hetero. This
paragraph that you quoted was the whole point of my post. The
Church is "punishing" stable, loving, responsible behavior over
wild, selfish, promiscous behavior.

Go figure.

I know you're not gay. But, your description is exactly like my old next door neighbor in CA. He was the most flaming gay guy I've ever known. Also one of the smartest guys I've ever known. He had a PERFECT town home. Decorated to perfection. He had an antique Italian dining room table. Chairs were at least 3K a piece. They HAD to be placed so the chair backs were exactly 17 3/4 inches from the table. Ran with a wild crowd & hung out with David Geffen. No shit- his vanity plate on his black BMW 750 (which he washed every other day) was AUNDIK.
Took me a while, you have to remember high school chemistry. Sounds just like your invented persona.

Reminds me of the old joke:

"My house was broken into by a gay burglar"

"How do you know the burglar was gay?"

"He didn't steal anything, he just cleaned and rearranged the
furniture."

As Frank Sinatra once said:

"A man never knows what real happiness is, until he's married. But then it's too late."

...was single. Mayberry was so peaceful and quiet and pleasant because everyone was unmarried. Andy, Barney, Thelma Lou, Aunt Bea, Clara, Gomer, Goober, Sam, Helen, The Darlins Father and sons, etc... The only one married was Otis the town drunk.
