Jonah Lomu, for those in the US who may not follow rugby, was a much loved former rugby player who was universally loved and admired by the worldwide rugby community. He died suddenly earlier this week, after suffering from kidney problems which ended his career. He was also LDS, and as such a New Zealand newspaper has felt it necessary to publish the above article.

I hope his local leaders will resist the urge to turn it into a missionary fest, and will allow the man to be mourned in a way that befits a sporting legend.
