Imo, Mormonism is devoid of empathy, from the q15 on down.

We are all victims of leaving a culture devoid of empathy. Mormonism is all about servicing the cult at your expense. Your time, your money, your feelings, your acceptance, your sexuality, your boundaries, are all on the table for the taking or controlling.

There is no you, you are not an individual, you are gear in the engine of Mormonism.

Then you need to put on an air of perfectionism. You become an actor, and/or you lie. If you have problems, you need to repent of something you are not doing for the benefit of Mormonism.

Feeling good that your non TR parents connot attend your wedding is unempathetic. Shaming and punishing for stupid Mormon rules is unempathetic.

Having Mormons only date and marry a Mormon in the temple as the main reason, is unempathetic. Telling the members that saying no, because your leader is inspired, is unempathetic. Not addressing facts and questions is unempathetic.

Imo, the main premise of Christianity is to develop empathy for others and to be mindful of those in need. Mormonism seems to be only about the cult at your personal expense, one size fits all, there can be no questioning, you have to do what they say, whether you can emotionally, financially, or time allows.

The cult us the dictator, and you must conform. They owe you nothing, but you owe them and you will probably feel not good enough. There are so many rules and written and unwritten expectations.
