I thought this adult thing would be more fun.

Time for bed. Blech.

Having a one-month-old right now, I can "testify" -- you're right. I don't know if this newest daughter really is more "difficult" than my other two kids, or if it's my age (55) that's making it seem a bit harder...

Doesn't matter though. She's wonderful, and it's worth every bit of sleep I lose. Just began actually smiling back to us (rather than gas) -- if you're not flooded with joy when your new child first smiles at you in recognition, there's something wrong with you ;-)

They are pretty great. I love when they start smiling and recognizing faces too.

Me too. My dog wakes me up early, and if I don't get to bed before 10, I'm not going to get enough sleep. Sucks.

If being an adult doesn't suit you, don't be one.

You will grow older, but you don't have to grow up.

Some people aren't cut out to adult. You may be one.

I LOVE having a bedtime, but that's because there is someone warm and cuddly with the same bedtime in the same bed.

Try doing it in the kitchen.

When I was little I thought being an adult meant not having a bed time but I’ve come to realize that it just means being in charge of my own bed time and it turns out that I am not equipped to handle that responsibility.

I was working at 1 pm 5 days a week for work. I really enjoyed it. Now I'm working at 4:30 am. I need to get used to it.
