I had to go to Walmart today, which I try to avoid at all costs.

As I was coming in, there was a bunch? group? quorum? of missionaries coming out, I think about 8 of them. A couple of them were pushing 2 baskets just loaded with food and supplies, lots of snacks and canned stuff.

The ones coming out first were being very "light minded", lots of joking and talking. One of them had his short sleeve shirt rolled up, kind of like he might have stored his smokes there at one time. Looked kind of odd.

I guess Monday is the Preparation day?

It was for me as a missionary and it explains the emails from my brother from his missionary sons I received today.

I ran into a group of mishies at a Costco and went up and asked if they were all in the Book of Mormon musical. Only one of them thought I was funny.

In my area it's typically Tuesday a Preparation Day.

I saw a group of them in Golden Corral.

It was a nightmare.

Were they in their white shirt and tie thing? Do they have to do that on P day? What's it like for missionaries in public on P day nowadays?

Yes, proselyting attire on P-Days. Unless engaging in an activity that would preclude that. Such as sports.

I never bothered with that stupid rule. P-Day was for relaxing, not looking like a missionary.
