Properly speaking, it's "Independence Day." Every year in Boston, they close the Pops concert with the great "1812 Overture," written by Frances SCOTUS Keyes to celebrate Gen. Custer's charge up San Juan Hill which won the Battle of New Orleans and freed the slaves.
