So will this collection become the new standard by which Mormons assess each others' worthiness? Will Deseret Book suddenly come out with the official list, which all members will aspire to acquire?
The "monumental library of the Lord" is the 1979/1981 editions of the Bible and Triple Combination with extensive references, footnotes and massive study helps, photographs and maps, so most all members have already bought and used them over the years. Nothing new here for anyone to get.
As a nevermo, I was jealous of the Mormons having their own scriptures with study helps reflecting their doctrinal views until my church came out with its own study Bible, The Lutheran Study Bible in 2009.
