Served about 20 years ago. I found out that missionaries don't visit prisons. I'd like to tell my story, but, I'll keep this short for now, because it's my first post.
Just cause you get the title of felon or ex-con doesn't mean life is over for you. Hang in there. Looking forward to your story.
BTW I visited one of my investigators in prison.
Also, the first assistant to the Mission Pres. got to spend time in prison for hit and run. I got to run interference for him. He only spent the first night in jail, we then got him transferred to the hospital under the pretense of injury. He spent the next two months under guard in the hospital and we took work to him. Lots more to the story. Maybe tell write it all down sometime.
Another welcome, Ralph. Don't care if you're an "ex-con." If you're now honest, kind, and intelligent/curious, you're OK with me :) I also would love to hear your story, when you're comfortable telling it. I doubt you'll find much if any condemnation here.
