Just talked to a nevermo who said the Jaredites came over in "Keggers"

Cracked me up. I like the wooden submarine thing but had never heard them called "keggers" before. He found out I grew up in Utah, asked a few tentative questions and soon we were exchanging crazy mormon stories. He said a friend in Utah made him promise to read the bom but he came to the part about sailing over here in Keggers and just couldn't buy it.

haha, "keggers" that's hilarious!!

When I was in YW (east coast ward way out in the "mission field") we had this sweet late 20s British couple who were in the ward for a year while he did postdoc work at the local U. So, he's teaching our sunday school class (for the second time since he got called) and we have this new family that just moved in from Utah who are real "stick up their butt" types. There are twin girls from this family in our class. Anyhow, the Brit is teaching about Moses blah blah blah and anyhow he said, "Moses was a wonderful mate to have, he worked hard for the Lord, Moses had BALLS!!" Everything in the room just stopped and we started laughing like crazy all except for Utah twins. They both looked furious and ran out the minute class ended. In another week we had a new teacher lol.

I liked him, I thought he was a good teacher.
