Nice photo, properly concerned look for outer-space, yet stylish half Beehive doo. The Trek-ettes are becoming stardust yet again. Did the green? Alien chick die yet? Kirk had a thing for her... Too many aliens, too little time...

She had a remarkable career, and looked much younger for her age when she starred in the original series.

Very stunning woman.

The one I remember as being green was Yvonne Craig, who played Bat Girl on the old Batman series.

It says she was the second dancing green girl on the series. LOL

Oh, and I always liked Yeoman Rand. She had such cool hair.

It says she was a singer and hung out with Billy Holiday in her earlier years. Cool. I can't remember, did she ever sing on the show? I'm remebering she did once. Nope, it's coming back to me, I'm wrong, that was Lt. Uhura.

I certainly remember her skirts. Or I guess that was just a shirt with a little extra material to cover up the how-do-ya-do parts.

She was a great part of the show, to bad they axed her part. Shatner probably complained us boys weren’t lookin’ at him whenever she came on the set. We were all in love with her.

R.I.P.Yeoman Janice Rand

Here's a synopsis of some of her episodes to trigger our memories.

http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Janice_Rand

You can listen to her friend (they were friends on the show), her friend Uhura sing this song as a tribute as you read.

Thanks justarelative.

Watched Star Trek from episode #1 when I attended Ricks in Sept.'66. Ms. Whitney was smokin' hot and I think all of us in Ensign Hall were in love with her. RIP Grace.

who played Shahna in the famous Star Trek episode, "Gamesters of Triskelion." She died of cancer in 1992.

I think I saw her once or twice at the Palomino Club in Las Vegas.

RIP Shahna as well.

When an above post commented on the green alien, I was going to mention Shahna. That episode burned a hole in my memory forever. Hottest girl ever on Star Trek in my mind.

Good thing I was never a Mormon. Such a lustful little boy I was. :)

(P.S. Sorry ladies, I did appreciate all their acting too.)

Susan Oliver appeared in the guise of an Orion slave girl; she unfortunately died many years ago. Yvonne Craig, the other Orion slave girl (and Bat Girl!) is still with us.

Beautiful Susan Oliver was the love interest in the original pilot with Jeffrey Hunter, aka Captain Pike. The pilot was later used as part of a Captain Kirk episode.

I personally feel that she and Leslie Parrish were unquestionably the two most beautiful women (and there were many) to appear in the original Star Trek series.

I've never been able to really enjoy the later Star Trek series. My heart belongs to Roddenberry's originals. I too was lustful for Yeoman Rand from those first season episodes and wished she'd had more.

I'm watching it all again on METV, broadcast for free on the local airwaves.

As a young man I sure had the hots for her, and I loved the braided beehive hair. It was her mouth, so beautiful and soft.

RIP Grace!

She had put out a 45 called "Disco Trekkin'" and I purchased a bunch of them to sell to others. She was a very nice person.

Also, her son Scott is a licensed pilot (last I heard, he worked for Clay Lacy Aviation in Van Nuys, CA). She had bought a Cessna 150/152 which was "named" "Star Trek II." I would fly it when I got the opportunity. Last time I saw it, it was at Mojave Airport, IIRC.
