The mayor’s religion is brought up throughout the complaints, which include a list of nine names of people the mayor’s office had hired and who are members of the Mormon Church."

It reads like he took his JS lessons to heart.

Lee is a famous / common IMW LDS surname; many are said to be descendants of the infamous John Doyle Lee of the MMM.
JDLee had 19 wives, 67 children.
