"They don't have the members they once did...the internet is killing them."

I heard someone say that on CNN this morning. The speaker was referring to Scientology, in a discussion about the new documentary "Going Clear." Of course, the same could be said of Mormonism. Interesting that the more information that people can learn about these religions from the internet, the fewer people want to be involved in those religions.

Scientology is the lightning rod for crazy religions. The Big 15 in SLC had better hope that Scientology continues to dominate the news, or the Church of Joseph Smith is next.

L. Ron Hubbard was the 20th-century version of Joseph Smith. But, naturally, TBMs don't see the similarities, because The Church Is True®.
