Yeah, like so obvious as to make me wonder why it hasn't made more members mad. The Jeffrey Nielson thing was hotter than hot back in the day. This is so bad.

Now, LDS Inc. has codified the treatment of gay peoples as second class and whined to be able to religiously discriminate against them.

Their status in LDS Inc. is the following - can be members, may have callings if they are celibate but can't marry or have much in the way of leadership opportunities. They can support gay marriage but members doing this risk losing employment with LDS Inc. and any leadership opportunities or callings.

Makes me so angry...

The media should be informed that every gay Mormon male has a coded file that indicates they are not allowed any callings where children are present: primary/music, teens, Scouts, Sunday school... Automatically equating gays with pedophiles was one of the final straws for Benji S. leaving the church. (Mormon Stories Podcast) I don't know the policy for LBTQ Mormons.

According to Benji Schwimmer. His stake president let him know there is new church policy (as of Feb/March 2011). Any member who admits any homosexual activity has an asterisk placed on their church file that they cannot have a teaching calling/interact with kids under age 18. The asterisk remains on the file until the member dies, no matter what-regardless of repentance, hetero marriage, no matter what, permanent.

He described what his stake president told him/John agreed/knew about church policy for gays as of 2011. They discuss this on the video interview/ Podcast (3 parts, part 3 marker 1 hr 3 min Mark).

Exactly. How many of the "worthy" priesthood holders covered for each other's felonies in the past.

An acquaintance wanted to divorce her hubby after he was caught trying to meet a 12 year old girl he seduced online. Too bad for him, it was a Federal sting.

LDS told her if she did, she would be ousted. She was devastated by the dual betrayal.

She divorced, he's a few years through a fifteen year plea-bargained sentence.

I don't know her membership status now.

There is another explanation - they are critical thinkers who lie.

(352 is where he talks about the new LDS INC policy requiring permanent asterisk on gay Mormon files...)

This probably means that all converts who answered affirmatively to 'Have you ever been in a homosexual relationship?' during the baptism interview immediately get an asterisk when their member record is created.

Most have no idea what they are getting in to. One woman in a podcast interview had no idea about garments, or parents being banned from weddings...

A Bi-racial young woman said her black father had never been informed blacks had previously been banned from the priesthood. (She belonged to Ordain Women).

So, if a gay couple starts the process a rental agreement and then a traditional family starts the process a member is a good member if they choose to ditch the earlier application to preserve the integrity of the traditional family or the constitutional rights of the church?

What about medical care, members should seek to preserve the lives of heterosexuals before homosexuals because these people maintain the integrity of the traditional family or the constitutional rights of the church more?

They made this a moral argument in the political realm and attempted to use political means to enforce their morals and the constitutional rights of an organization over that of individuals.

Goodness is not bound by righteousness thank God.

In reading the synopsis of his book (in the attachment above) he has nailed the whole leadership/sheeple thingey and it has proved true with himself. He has proven his own thesis with this own experience.

How sad, he had a lot to teach his students, all of which was thought provoking and open for debate. It would have done all his students a lot of good. And he is silenced because he came out in support of one group of his students - the gay ones.

It is awful, just awful!!

And there will be no apologies I guarantee it.
