The following thread provided much food for thought.

The internet is definitely changing the world of Mormonism and the world in general. I think it is also increasing the number of people who are trained (via interactions on the internet) to think in complex ways and discern fraudulent claims. It also provides a vehicle for the dishonest to hone their skills.

But doesn't it take a doubter to go to the internet to begin to research??? Sure the info is there but you have to GET THERE. How I would love for my convert daughter to become a doubter. She would rely on the internet for help. But she wouldn't read a thing I tried to show her before she married a Mormon. I am okay with my son in law- just not the religion he brought her into.

A lot of Mormons have written to say that they found my website by doing an Internet search for materials to help them prepare for a Sunday school lesson. Some were quite indignant and begged me to take down my website.

But they had found it. Maybe some seeds were planted?

Which is one reason why the church now discourages using outside sources for lessons.
