Beating a Dead Horse Dept. in Morland.

we live in a world filled with new/exciting discoveries in Science; DNA as prime example...

'What If' there was irrefutable evidence regarding:


- Health Benefits of (moderate) coffee / tea

- Health Benefits of (moderate) alcohol use

- Global Warming 'climate change' as a result of h(uman activity.


What (anything?) would TSCC do / say about this subjects?
would they Dare comment?

Anything???

Science seems to always change it's mind. I'll momentarily play devils advocate here and represent the church and the christian right.

1) Coffee and tea stains the teeth, turns them brown. Those that drink a lot of coffee are at risk of over anxiety and stomach ulcers.

2)Alcohol use, it's very tempting to not drink moderately. What starts as a little tonic before bed can turn into drunken debauchery. It's a powder kegg.

3) Global warming (from humans). The earth has been in a natural warming cycle for the last 500 years anyway. It's hard to say? Why would god create all these people on this planet if the earth can't support so many people having fires and burning stuff?

I would like Tommy to ask of ghawd, who giveth liberally and upbraidth not, what Dark Matter and Dark Energy are.

Since there are estimates that these two "things" make up more than 95% of the universe, I think curiosity about them is not unwarranted. And who better than the prophet of the architect and builder of the whole shebang?
