Do you people here think it was or still is a reality that Monson could be prosecuted under British law for teaching that no humans existed prior to 6000 bc or that we descended from Adam and Eve?

How could the public prosecutor want to take on the brief of prosecuting this when most ordinary people do not care if a person believes it or not.

Other issues like the tax evasion of mission presidents would be more an issue to be taken seriously by the crown prosecution sevice.

In the early 60's, the Mormon church fought the British Government on the taxation of the London Temple and LOST!

The court ruled that since the temple is not open to the public it does not come under the religious tax exemption. Perhaps our government will wake up someday and really separate church and state as well.
