Does anybody know what Lynn Packer is up to these days? He was the reporter who blew the whistle on Paul H. Dunn, thereby earning all the vitriol that TSCC could muster against him. Anybody?

Not only did Lynn Packer blow the whistle on Paul Dunn, he along with Chris Van Ocur exposed the fact that LDS Inc had supplied 2 million dollars in cash to fund the 2002 Olympic bid scandal.

Lynn made it known that LDS Inc leaders are quite corrupt and very nasty when it comes to getting back at people who expose their corruption. They bounced him out of his local high profile news paper writer job. When Lynn did speak it was NOT in a timid tone. LDS Inc leaders do not want to mess with Lynn, because he has some major dirt on them and their utterly corrupt Olympic bid. Even as thoroughly amusing as a book on Paul Dunn lies and unfounded boasting would be, the book that really needs to written by LP is one that chronicles the LDS Inc funding of the 2002 Olympic bid bribery scandal.

The project never took wing (mainly because I was too busy) but Lynn surely does have a tale to tell. I hope he gets it into print eventually, with or without my promotional doodle. :)

Long article in a Sunstone some years back. Well written. So much for the power of discernment. 15 men sustained as prophets and not a one of them figured it out. On the other hand, they can't seem to figure out that JS was a fraud and perv.

My father talked with him recently on another topic, though it is indirectly related to Paul H. Dunn. I can't comment about it since I don't know the details.

What is your point, other than to make clear your contempt for the homosexual community through your vulgar screen names and so forth? Lynn Packer is pretty well known in the ex Mormon community.

If ever there is a Whistleblower in the Church then its important for the sake of missionary work to praise such whistleblowers so that when people investigate they say "gosh what a super honest and transparent church; maybe it is a true church; I want to learn more ...." as a first step to sincerely investigating the truthfulness of the Church so they can begin to have faith, repent, get baptized, and endure to the end.

Was this Lynn Packer guy really a whistleblower? If he was then I should praise him immensely in my next Sacrament meeting talk. Being in the true church means that the local leaders & everyone in the church will be so proud of me for being so forthright as long as I tell everything.
